Dit type dieet heeft veel boeken gestimuleerd en heeft de afgelopen jaren veel aandacht gekregen, aangezien studies (meestal bij dieren) hebben aangetoond dat het het risico op verschillende ziekten kan verminderen en ook gewichtsverlies kan bevorderen. Verder aanvullend onderzoek, waaronder ook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-018-36674-9\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"\u4e00\u4e2a\u5c0f\u578b\u7814\u7a76\uff08\u5728\u65b0\u6807\u7b7e\u4e2d\u6253\u5f00\uff09\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"rank-math-link\">\u4e00\u4e2a\u5c0f\u4e66\u623f<\/a> \u65ad\u65ad\u7eed\u7eed\u5730\u7981\u98df\u7684\u56db\u5206\u4e4b\u4e09\u7684\u4eba\u8868\u660e\uff0c\u95f4\u6b47\u6027\u7981\u98df\u4e5f\u53ef\u80fd\u6709\u52a9\u4e8e\u4fc3\u8fdb\u65b0\u9648\u4ee3\u8c22\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De meest populaire benadering van periodiek vasten is de 16:8-benadering, die 16 uur per dag vasten vereist; je eet bijvoorbeeld tussen 11.30 uur en 19.30 uur. Een andere versie, alternate-day fasting (ADF), wisselt periodes van 24 uur vasten (die eigenlijk zeer beperkte di\u00ebten met slechts 500 calorie\u00ebn zijn) af met dagen van vrij eten. Je kunt jouw risico op hartaandoeningen verminderen door een gezonde levensstijl te volgen: goed eten, sporten, niet roken en alcoholgebruik beperken. Het kan ook gunstig zijn voor mensen met spijsverteringsproblemen.
